The Next Four Years
What up party people,
Weird week with TikTok & Xiaohongshu. Good to see it unbanned, at least for now. Weird to see the different bids go out for TikTok. Interesting next 4 years, that's for sure...

Biden's Jan 16 Executive Order Breakdown
With the presidential transition happening, this last cybersecurity executive order sets the tone for the next ~4-5 years. Significantly greater focus on software supply chain, much like the new EU DORA act.
FilterBuy - Underrated Business Creator
I've been following and watching a bunch of David Heacock's videos. It's super interesting to see a CEO of a more "traditional" business take YouTube seriously. I would trust what he has to say over pretty much any other online business media guru right now.
Output:
Startup Idea #021 - A multi-window sharing application for Mac OSX. I really like this idea, but I don't know the first thing about Swift, so someone please make it so I can pay for it.

Small Efforts | Season 3 Ep 2 - When should you charge your first customers?
Small Efforts podcast episode of the week. We're starting to use Andrew's SaaS product a lot at the agency and finding value out of it, so we talk about what pricing should even look like.
Insight:
AI SDR's. I wonder how many of them will actually deliver on providing their customers with strong qualified leads vs just helping automate the generation of crappy leads in the pipeline. I assume the latter is actually what is happening, but the leading indicators of "look at how much pipeline we have" is justifying the cost.
