Late Issue
It's still Sunday somewhere.
Here's the format as usual:
- Input: Things I saw
- Output: Things I made
- Insight: Things I noticed/am thinking about
Input:
Beehiiv's New Website Creator
I got to try Beehiiv's new website creator last week. It's honestly... pretty solid and makes them a first choice for newsletter creators. There's a few SEO things I really wish it had (schema markup???), but compared to Substack, Buttondown, etc. It feels like the clunkier lovechild of Framer and Webflow where your newsletters are your CMS entries. Honestly, not bad at all.
Output:
Startup Idea #022 - A chrome extension to remind sedentary desk workers to move just a little more every day.

Copy Work
Rebuilt my previous open-source project into a more fullstack web app with Lovable and Supabase. Copy Work is based on the method of "copywork" where you copy another someone's writing to learn the texture, voice, and word choice. This app is just an easier way to do that, preloaded with essays from popular contemporary authors.

Insight:
As far as I'm concerned, NVDA went on sale at 85 cents on the dollar. Ty for the flash discount, Deepseek.
